Meet the 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards Jurors!

I am proud to introduce you to our 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards jurors!

The Canadian Weblog Awards are decided by jury rather than public vote so that we can focus on quality over popularity. Each blog is measured against 10 criteria with an eye to both content and design so that we can find Canadian blogs exhibiting the highest excellence, and this process of adjudication makes our volunteer jury vital to these awards. We had 492 blogs to judge this year, and our 34 jurors did an incredible job taking a critical eye to each and every one to find our 2013 Canadian Weblog Awards winners.

I am so honoured that they volunteered to spend two weeks of their lives to make these awards a reality, and I am proud to introduce them to you. They are a dedicated group of individuals, and, if I could, I'd send them all to some beach resort for umbrella drinks.

Thank you, 2013 jurors, for allowing us to honour Canada's best! You make our world go 'round.
